HIGHLIGHTS:
* Your guide will walk you through the ages; from the Imperial era to present day
* Discover the most characterful neighbourhoods of Berlin
* See one of the largest open air galleries in the world: East Side Gallery
Separated into two parts, the morning will concentrate on the historical centre reviewing the Imperial Era, Nazism, the Cold War and the Berlin Wall.
After a break, the tour will continue with the discovery of the B-side of the city through
two of the most multicultural districts of Berlin: Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain.
Crossing the bridge that served as the border between East and West, which was restored by the architect Calatrava, you will arrive at one of the largest canvases in the world: the East Side Gallery, which consists in
105 pieces of art dedicated to freedom painted on a section of what used to be part of the Berlin Wall.
Finally, we have time to contemplate the
socialist architecture of the monumental avenue, Karl-Marx-Allee, remembering how he lived in the GDR.
