The house has been departmentalised into five distinct areas and your audio guide will suggest a route to follow through each one, pointing out the highlights and details as you move along. Visit the Noble Floor with its great views over the upscale Passeig de Gracia. Explore the vast loft, once the Batlló family's laundry and storeroom, and then step out on to the roof terrace, built to resemble a dragon's back, and which has colourful mosaic chimney stacks.



Descend the communal stairwell, admiring the stained-glass windows and the meticulously designed bannisters, skylights and other details as you go. Then, in the entrance hall, marvel at the great wooden staircase.
