Step back in time with a tour to Bruges, one of the best preserved medieval towns in Europe.
HIGHLIGHTS:
* Visit all the main sights of the city on a guided tour
* Journey through picturesque countryside from Paris
* During summer enjoy a cruise along the quaint canals
We invite you to discover one of the best preserved medieval towns in Europe. During the bus ride, you can enjoy the rolling landscape of Picardy with its myriad shades of green and picturesque villages. There will be a rest stop before arriving in Belgium.
During the journey your guide will introduce you to the history of this fascinating city, world-famous for its canals, chocolates and lace. The city centre is largely pedestrianised so the best way to see the town is on foot. Its picturesque houses and facades and many canals have given Bruges the deserved nickname Venice of the North.
During the tour, you will visit the main sights including the Béguinage convent, the beautiful Gothic-style Town Hall on the Place du Bourg, the Basilica of the Holy Blood, the imposing Grand Place, the bustling Les Halles market and the marvellous Cathedral of Notre Dame (guided visit: 1h30). During the summer season an evening cruise along the canals is included in the programme.
Meeting/ pick-up point: Pyramides agency at 2 Rue des Pyramides.
Start or opening time: Departs at 7.15am, with return at about 9.15pm
