Program details
Be astounded by the spectacle that is the Bonheur show at the amazing Lido theatre. Enjoy some Champagne whilst you exclaim over the stunning visuals, lighting, costumes and special effects of a show that will not disappoint.
Be swept up in the excitement and ingenuity that is revealed during a show that centres round the themes of Paris, India, the cinema and women.
Named after the Lido beach in Venice, the theatre’s history is rooted in the French tradition of cabaret and dates back to the Belle Epoque of the 1920’s. The now very modern and technologically advanced theatre seats over 1,000 guests and was built without columns to ensure no obstructed views. The orchestra section is a giant elevator that descends 80cm into the floor to once again ensure visibility for the show.
The magnificent Bonheur show contains an ice rink, 23 sets, 90 spotlights, a five metre tall Indian temple, 600 costumes bedecked in 300,000 sequins and pearls and 60,000 crystals, features an ice rink, and utilises 80,000 litres of water for a pool and water screen. This staggering performance is a must see whilst you are in Paris.
