Kos has its fair share of beaches, but Paradise Beach on the southwest coast tops the lot. The most popular on the island, it's sandy with bright blue seas and rocks towards one end. So how about spending the day here? We'll drop you here late morning and leave you to enjoy it all afternoon. You'll find plenty of facilities here too. Things like sunbeds, umbrellas, tavernas and watersports. Laze on the sands in the shade or the sun. Splash about in the waters - they're wonderfully shallow so ideal for games, kids and learner swimmers. Or just set off with a snorkel. An inflatable waterpark pops up here sometimes too. And the sea's a bit special as well. The locals call the beach ''Bubble Bay'' for a reason. In certain places, volcanic bubbles gurgle up from the seabed, creating natural jacuzzis. Imagine swimming in fizzy lemonade and you've got the idea.
