See all there is to see in the magnificent Athens and the coastal Piraeus with these hop on-hop off tours of the cities. With two bus routes to choose from, you can opt either for the Athens Tour (Red Route) and spend a whole day admiring the Greek capital’s ancient constructions, or join the more varied Athens & Piraeus Tour (Blue Route), with which you get to know not only Athens but also the beautiful coastal city of Piraeus.

Every half hour, you can join the Red Route’s sightseeing tour of central Athens, which lasts only 90 minutes. The Red and Blue Route cross at the Acropolis bus stop, so you can even broaden your horizons by getting a taste of both worlds. The round trip to Piraeus on the Blue Route, on the other hand, lasts 70 minutes. But of course, with your bus ticket you can jump on and off of the bus at whichever stop you choose. That way, you can personalize your exploration of the cities by freely jumping off at strategic points to behold the best landmarks upfront and later re-join the bus, which comes by every 30 minutes.

Both bus lines include a highly informative commentary in a large selection of languages that narrate the history of the city from ancient times to the present day. Drop off points include the Lion’s Gate, the Archaeological Museum of Piraeus, Mikrolimano Harbour, the Planetarium, the Acropolis & Parthenon, the Museum of Ancient Greek Technology and more.


Meeting/pick-up point: first stop is Cruise Ship Terminal - Main Gate.
