Here is your opportunity to experience a whole new side of the Academy at ''Nightlife'', every Thursday night from 6pm to 10pm. Watch it transform into a lively venue filled with music and mingling, provocative science, special activities and cocktails forvisitors aged 21 and over. It is a uniquely sophisticated where you will groove to San Francisco's hippest DJ's and performers, explore all of the Academy's exhibits and shows, and meet locals and visitors from around the world.

The ''skip the line nightlife tour'' includes entrance into the California Academy of Sciences, all exhibits and the DJ Music performance. The VIP Tour includes access to the four story “Rainforests of the World” exhibit, a reserved pass for the 8:30pm Planetarium show and express entry into the building. Also included is access to an open bar in a reserved cocktail area prior to the tour, a one-hour behind-the-scenes tour with a private viewing of some of the Academy's renowned gem and mineral collection and interaction with Academy researchers.
