In this two day combo you'll discover the natural wonders of Yosemite National Park with its Giant Sequoias on the first day. Then the following morning take the ferry for a visit to infamous Alcatraz Island.

After an early start the journey begins with a drive through San Joaquin Valley and into the Sierra Nevada range. In the morning, you will be driven to a giant sequoia grove, stopping along the way for a bird's-eye view of the whole valley. Then after a picnic lunch, you will have the opportunity to go on a short one-hour hike to the falls or grab a snack at the Yosemite Lodge. You will have three to four hours to spend at Yosemite National Park, with a range of activities to suit everyone.

Then on the second day you'll take the ferry ride across the bay heading for one of the most famous landmarks in the world, Alcatraz Island. This tour includes an award-winning 45 minute audio presentation which features actual recordings of employees and inmates who lived and worked on the Island. You'll also have plenty of time to explore on your own.

During peak season Alcatraz receives high visitor volume, on rare occasions the Alcatraz tour may not be available for the day following your main excursion and hence will be confirmed on the next available date. The Yosemite excursion includes hotel pick up and drop off and the services of a driver-guide throughout, leaving between 05:50 and 06:45 and returning by 21:00.


Meeting/pick-up point: Pick-ups provided from Downtown San Francisco hotels and also from hotels in the Fisherman's Wharf area for Yosemite tour. Pick up times range from 5:50 h to 6:45 h. Guests will be booked for ALCATRAZ TOUR on DAY 2 in morning time slot at 9 h, 9:30 h, 10 h or 10:30 h. Please confirm time directly with supplier. Guests are to make their way to Pier 33 for the Alcatraz Tour. Guests have to reconfirm the tour at least 3 days prior.
Languages: Alcatraz is an audio tour that is self-paced, available in English, Spanish, Italian, German, French, Korean, Japanese, Portuguese and Mandarin upon request in advance and are subject to availability. Audio guides require a refundable deposit payable locally. For the Tour, the guide speaks in English.
Others: For Children's safety it is required to bring a car seat for all children under 8 years or weighing less than 60 pounds, children who are 4'9 or taller can be secured with a safety belt . An alternative pick up location may be arranged at customer expense, subject to availability.
