This extraordinary tour includes a visit to the main tourist attractions of the Modern and Colonial City, such as El Malecón of Santo Domingo, Plaza de la Cultura, China Town, Presidential Palace of Santo Domingo, the Port Avenue, until reaching the Colonial Zone where we will initiate the walk to Columbus Fortress.


You will visit The Real Audience, Palace of Captains, Governors and Generals, “Los Remedios” Chapel and the National Pantheon. Without any doubt, a walk full of history and culture!

Walk down from “Las Damas” Street until reaching the Ozama Fortress, a stop for pictures at the Fortress, visit to the Cathedral, a stop at Columbus Park for pictures (10 minutes). Then will continue to do some shopping of Dominican souvenirs and from there walk back to the bus awaiting.


Finally, the tour will make a panoramic visit to El Faro a Colon (Columbus Lighthouse) where you can take pictures from the bus.




Meeting/pick-up point: Hotels reception.

Duration: Half day tour (approximately 4 hours).

Start/opening time: At 9am.

End/closing time: At 1pm approximately.

Others: Physical condition required: normal or healthy. This excursion is not recommended for people with severe physical or motor handicapped. Not recommended for women with a high-risk pregnancy. Customers should bring comfortable clothes and footwear, camera, cap or hat, extra cash for tips and souvenirs. The tour includes ground transportation and tour guide.
