Program details
With more than 1,200 animals from 210 different species, it’s no surprise that Paphos Zoo is rated as one of the top three parks in Europe. Set in a beautiful panoramic location that showcases the magic of nature, the animals enjoy a high standard of living in a natural environment. Come along and acquaint yourself with one of Europe’s largest bird and exotic parrot collections as well as an interesting variety of rare animals such as giant 150kg tortoises, deer, antelopes, reptiles, eagles, owls and much-much more. Discover the rich culture of Cyprus; watch us make traditional handicrafts such as carpet and basket weaving.
Relax as the animators entertain your children with hours of fun and discovery throughout the park in our playground and allow the children play with the animals in the Children’s Farm. Pet feed and interact with small animals such as miniature goats. You can even sponsor and adopt an animal of your choice. Savour the delights of our Restaurant and refresh yourself in one of our snack bars surrounded by the enchanting sounds of bird songs. Enrich your senses and get away from it all in an environment of lakes, ponds, waterfalls and gardens landscaped from native Cypriot plants. Throughout the week, between 11am and 4pm, there’s free face painting and balloon-blowing exhibitions.
