The Boston and Cambridge tour takes you on a visit through the colonial area famous for the first beginnings of the revolution, such as Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market, long considered the cradle of American civilization. Learn the history of the Old State House, the oldest surviving public building in Boston and see the ship replica of the Boston Tea Party where the settlers showed their disgust against the British Kingdom.
Visit authentic Bostonian houses in Beacon Hill and Back Bay where the contrast between old and new is apparent and complimentary. The Copley Square area and Newbury Street area are pleasantly picturesque, boasting art galleries and quaint Parisian-style cafes.
Cross the Charles River, and enter the city of Cambridge, complete with two of the United States’ most reputable universities; Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Harvard University. Harvard is one of the highest rated universities in the world, and houses have the largest library that exists in an academic center in the United States, and MIT is or has been associated with seventy eight Novel laureates.
The universities are only some of Cambridge’s many highlights however. Massachusetts’ fifth most populous city is also home to an abundance of contemporary architecture as well as numerous museums including the Harvard Art Museum, the Semitic Museum and the Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology. This three hour long tour assists you in finding the highlights of Boston and Cambridge in comfort and with ease.
