Throughout this leisurely two-hour tour of Boston's Inner and Outer Harbour, a local historian from the American Lighthouse Foundation regales you with all kinds of fun, tasty titbits of the city's history. The American Lighthouse Foundation is a non-profit organization with a primary mission of lighthouse preservation. With headquarters in Rockland, the organization currently has stewardship responsibility over twenty-two lighthouses in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island.
Old North Church is the common name for the Christ Church in the City of Boston, located in Salem Street, in the North End of Boston. They say the signal ''One if by land, and two if by sea'' has been sent from there. This is the oldest church building in Boston still standing and a National Historic Landmark.
Boston Light is a lighthouse located on Little Brewster Island in outer Boston Harbor. The lighthouse dates back to 1716 and is the second oldest working lighthouse in the US (after Sandy Hook Lighthouse in New Jersey.
