Discover the ancient ruins of Pompeii, an ancient Roman city destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. This tour invites you to walk through the metropolis’ ghostly remnants and at the end, like in a detective novel, see the murderer’s face; the second part of the tour takes you on a thrilling ride up Mount Vesuvius, the ominous landmark of the Bay of Naples that remains active even to this day.

Begin your adventure with a wander through the melancholy yet marvellous streets of Pompeii. Alongside your tour guide, you will learn all about life in the ancient Roman Empire, and what buildings the abstract skeletal structures that remain used to be. The ruins are full of surprises; some former houses of the patricians still preserve magnificent frescoes on their walls.

After that, make a detour to the nearby Cameo and Corals factory, where you can see the elaboration process of these fine pieces of jewellery. You are even invited to do a little shopping and see if you find the red, pink or white jewel that is just right for you – or your significant other.

After lunch in the restaurant Vesuvius, it is time to see the real thing. With the Vesuvius drive, you will be taken to the summit of this foreboding hill. From the top, admire the unparalleled vantage point over the Bay of Naples and see the mesmerizing lava flows inside the yawning crater: an exhilarating experience!
