Step into a time warp with this exciting tour through two of the most impressive archaeological sites in Italy. Conveniently located near Naples are the remains of the ancient Roman towns of Pompeii and Herculaneum. This tour invites you to walk around both of these skeletal cities and learn about ancient Roman history. You will also have the chance to visit the splendorous Cameo and Coral factory, found very near the ruins of Pompeii.


Begin your ancient adventure with a walk through the ruins of Pompeii. Once a thriving Roman metropolis, this city’s history came to an end with the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79AD., burying it in ash and flame. Among other amazing sights, you will witness miraculously preserved frescoes on the walls of the homes of former patricians.


After that, take a detour to the luxurious Cameo and Corals factory. Observe how these fine pieces of red, white and pink coloured jewellery are manufactured and even buy some to take home with you, fresh from the oven.

After a hearty lunch at the Vesuvius restaurant comes the last part of our journey, a trip to the ruins of Herculaneum. Another victim of the volcanic spew, the crippled remains of Herculaneum have a ghostly feel to them. All in all, this day is bound to connect you with ancient history and love for life.
