Head out of Rome and take the Autostrada del Sole south through the beautiful Italian countryside, admiring the rolling hills of Lazio and Campania. Enjoy a panoramic overview of Italy’s largest and most vibrant city, Naples, before heading south again to Pompeii. A traditional Italian lunch is included in the tour.
Once a thriving Roman town, Pompeii was destroyed by the unforeseen AD79 eruption of Vesuvius, which lies in between the town and Naples.
