Take a trip to the Vatican Museums followed by the world famous Sistine Chapel, where you’ll be able to see some of the world’s most renowned Renaissance art by some of history’s most well-known artists.
The Vatican Museums attract millions of tourists every year and it’s clear to see why. Come and see for yourself, the beautiful artwork and artefacts which inhabit the museums from Vincent Van Gogh’s Pietà, after Delacroix, which is housed in the Collection of Modern Religious Art, to the Augustus of Prima Porta in the Braccio Nuovo. The various sculptures and paintings are a sight to behold.
After the visit to the Museums you will be taken to the renowned
Sistine Chapel, the official residence of the Pope in Vatican City. Get a taste of the architecture and art which has gone into making the Sistine Chapel what it is today, with work from some of Italy’s most famous Renaissance artists, including Michelangelo and Pinturicchio. See the gorgeous Sistine Chapel Ceiling, covered in art including The Creation of Adam and many more pieces by Michelangelo. This tour is definitely not to be missed by those who want to see the main sights of Vatican City or simply want to take in some of the art this spectacular place has to offer!
Meeting/ Pick-up point: Risorgimento square in front of the bar “L’Ottangolo”.
Duration: Approximately three hours.
Start or opening time: At 2.15/2.30pm.

Others: Entrance tickets to skip the line, guide and headsets are included in the price. The guide will not enter in Sistine Chapel, they will give explanations outside the Chapel. From 1/11 - 31/03 the tour operates on Fridays and Saturdays.
