Program details
Come and visit Khao Phing Kan, better known as James Bond Island, featured in “The Man with the Golden Gun”. Khao Phing Kan is now one of the most popular destinations in Thailand due to its marvellous landscapes with caves, beaches and rock formations including an impressive 20m monolith known as Ko Tapu, one of the symbols of the island. You will enjoy a fast crossing by speedboat, making for Ao Por Grand Marina Resort in beautiful Phang Nga Bay studded with over 3500 islands. When we arrive at Talu Island, it’s time to board a canoe and follow your knowledgeable local guide who will show you limestone caves and strange rock formations. We will paddle deep into hidden grottos where you will able to see the small lagoons known as “hongs” that can only be accessed at low tide. Equipped with helmets and lamps you will discover caves with imaginative names such as Ice-Cream Cave and Mangrove Cave. You will observe stalactite and stalagmites, some of them over 50m high. We will also make several stops for you to go for a swim in the crystal-clear waters of the bay. Finally you will be served a traditional Thai lunch at Panyi, a picturesque Muslim settlement built on stilts over the sea.
