Program details
Hop aboard a multimillion-dollar luxury catamaran purpose-built for whale watching. The boat is ready to take you on a breathtaking journey through the waters of Moreton Bay. Skippered by the South Pacific's only female captain of a whale watching venture, Captain Kerry Lopez and her professional crew will take you on a full day adventure to experience the mesmerizing migration of the humpback whales.
This whale watching experience includes morning tea, gourmet buffet lunch followed by afternoon tea, all of which can be enjoyed from either from the luxury air-conditioned seating with ceiling to floor windows, or from one of the six viewing platforms. With a capacity to take up to 300 guests, there is plenty of room for independent leisure guests as well as groups to take in the awesome sights of these majestic mammals.
The catamaran is Australia's most modern whale watching vessel. This 320 passenger catamaran represents the ultimate in whale friendly vessel design and technology, featuring the latest in environmentally friendly technology. It bears skewback propellers for reduced noise, a hull designed for low wash and the newest MTU 2000 V16 series engines. These engines have the ability to shutdown cylinders reducing fuel consumption, noise and exhaust emissions. They allow us to hang around whales without disturbing them.
