Program details
Explore the World Heritage rainforest of Springbrook National Park on this fascinating trail led by a highly trained professional guide. Visit the spectacular Natural Bridge, walk the Twin Falls Circuit and delve deep into a grotto to admire the natural light display created by thousands of glow-worms.
The Natural Bridge is a rare natural formation that is a waterfall and cave all in one, courtesy of a particularly inspired Mother Nature. Then, with waterfalls cascading overhead, marvel at the wonders of the rainforest while walking the Twin Falls Circuit. This trail through sub-tropical and temperate rainforests takes you a little further, to the spots that most visitors miss out on. A fresh and delicious picnic lunch is made on site by your guide. Keep a lookout for native wildlife such as wallabies and rainforest birds.
With some luck, you might be able to see some of the rare wildlife that can be spotted from the tracks on the way to the grotto, the last port of call. This is the home to one of the rainforest's most intriguing inhabitants, glow-worms. In the pitch black darkness of the grotto, 10 000 glow worms light up the ceiling like stars in the night.
