Grab a bike and get ready to cycle to the to the famous Ipanema beach. Embrace the buzzing ambience as you pedal down the boulevard.



Continue along the long stretch of paradise until you arrive at the marvellous Jardim de Alah, or also known as Allah’s Garden. Admire this truly intriguing landscape, with its calming canal dividing Ipanema beach from Leblon.



Connecting the lagoon to the sea, the canal leads up to Rodrigo de Freita’s Lagoon, an upmarket neighbourhood and one of the fanciest in the region. Contemplate its splendour, framed by imposing mountains and overlooked by the Christ the Redeemer statue. This spectacular lagoon is famous for its impressive sunsets as the golden shimmer from the sun reflects off the still waters.



Enjoy a refreshing coconut water break at the lagoon´s entertainment area and soak up the atmosphere of this hot-spot. Once refreshed, head over to the botanical gardens, where you can jump off your bike to stretch your legs on a walking tour. Next, hop back on your bike and cycle through the bohemian Baixo Gavea, as you make your way towards Leblon Beach. Once here, you'll get that perfect instagram photo opportunity of the beach from Leblon´s lookout point.



Feel the breeze against your face as you cycle past Ipanema Beach before stopping at Arpoador Beach. This popular surfers hang-out is by far the best place in Rio to watch the sunset, where the locals and tourists alike show their appreciation to natures spectacle by cheering and clapping.



To end this adrenaline fuelled day, ride back to Copacabana Beach via the Girl from Ipanema Park, named in honor of the most famous Brazilian music in the world, the Bossa Nova.
