Live the high life at Grandvalira, the largest ski resort in the Pyrenees and one of Europe’s best, and enjoy an exceptional ski experience. This epic Pyrenean ski resort came about from the union of two other resorts: Pas de la Casa-Grau Roig and Soldeu-El Tarter. It now offers a staggering 210km of runs for all levels. A snowy paradise, waiting to be enjoyed whatever the skill level of the visitor.
With more than 50 years of experience and award-winning ski schools, you can rest assured that your stay will be down to a tee. Admire the breathtaking scenery, breathe in the fresh air and then prepare to feel the exhilaration as you race down one of the pristine slopes. The high altitude, northerly orientation and 1,000 snow cannon ensure everything is in tip-top order. There are 18 green slopes, 38 blue, 32 red, 22 black, 66 lifts and 450 instructors. Queues are almost unheard of and fast ski lifts mean that you maximise the time on the slopes.
Novices can participate in any number of classes, while the experienced can venture off-piste to get the adrenalin seriously flowing. There are also freestyle areas, a bumps stadium and numerous other snow based activities if you want a break from skiing. Try the adventure circuits, snow-shoeing, dog-sledding or reindeer riding. Small children are catered for in the Mickey Snow Club. And don’t forget to relax afterwards and enjoy the hospitality with some of the best après ski in Europe.
