Your adventure begins by heading towards the Pacaya volcano, located at 2500 meters above sea level. The environment is characterised by humid forests and rocky landscapes. From San Vicente de Pacaya, at the foot of the volcano, start your 60 minute hike up the middle of the volcano– remember you are standing next to Guatemala's most active volcano.



Head afterwards to the Kawilal hot springs, where you will enjoy some free lunch. Kawilal is a universe of relaxation, where the most astounding elements of nature come together to create an unparalleled environment. The thermal waters and steams are warmed by the active volcano you will have just come down from. There is a complex offering sustainable tourism with 12 thermal pools, a thermal circuit, 25 steam baths and three hydrotherapy baths, as well as a restaurant with excellent international and fast food.
