Program details
Located in the city center of Jerez, La Taberna Flamenca is a way of life. Enjoy an unforgettable day in a nice atmosphere of wines whit the most pure flamenco and lunch. Flamenco is a Spanish style of music and dance that originated in Andalusia in the 18th century, which is based on the music and Andalusian dance, about its origin there is controversy, since there are different opinions and sheds, but none of them can be checked in a historical way. Although the RAE dictionary mentions that it is associated with the Gypsy ethnic group, this does not apply to its origin; however, there is no doubt of its contribution to the foundations of flamenco.
The most widespread is that only that cultural mixing that occurred in Andalusia (Muslims, Christians, Jews, Gypsies, etc.) led to the origin of this genre, as Gypsies, Christians, Arabs and Jews. They exist in many parts of the world and there however, flamenco is only in Andalusia. Therefore the flamenco is a heritage authentically and genuinely of all Andalusians regardless of ethnicity and religion.
