Make the most of your visit to Andalusia with this two-day trip to Seville, the exuberant, stylish capital of the region. You’ll get to know the most important monuments and neighbourhoods of Seville in this in depth tour departing from Granada. Discover the city’s fascinating Islamic architectural legacy, go for a cruise along the Guadalquivir, and enjoy unsurpassable views of the city from the top of the Giralda.

In the morning we’ll explore all the main sights of this sensuous, vibrant city in the company of an official tourist guide. You cannot fail to be impressed by the Royal Alcazar Palace, originally a Moorish fortress, and one of the best remaining examples of Mudejar architecture. Seville Cathedral is a veritable poem in stone. This massive building is said to be one of the largest churches in the world and is absolutely crammed with art treasures. The morning will end with a climb to the top of the Giralda, undisputed symbol of the city for some great views over the rooftops of Seville.

Then you’ll have some free time for lunch, to do some shopping or to explore on your own before we visit the Museum of Flamenco dance for an exhibition of sultry Andalusian rhythms that is sure to get your pulse racing. In the evening we’ll go for a stroll around the old Jewish quarter of Santa Cruz. Experience the deep silence of the mediaeval alleys as you listen to local legends. We’ll also stop for some tapas and a drink or two in one of the area’s many lively bars.

The following morning we’ll go for a relaxing boat trip along the Guadalquivir including an audio-guide for you to learn all about the different bridges and monuments you’ll see silhouetted against the luminous Andalusian sky. After the cruise you’ll have some free time for lunch and to take a last stroll before we board the bus for the return journey to Granada.
