Walk among the skyscrapers of downtown Vancouver and the towering treetops of the temperate rainforest with this combo tour. Travel across the Lions Gate Bridge and through the North Shore Mountains to visit Vancouver’s first tourist destination – Capilano Suspension Bridge.

There you can cross the world’s longest suspension footbridge, which hangs safely 70 dizzying metres above a spectacular river canyon, among the tops of the lofty Douglas firs. Guaranteed to get your heart racing, this exhilarating experience has been drawing brave visitors to the park since 1889.



There’s more to explore in the park. The Treetop Adventure is a series of smaller suspension bridges, giving you an opportunity to experience life in the canopy from a woodpecker or chipmunk’s perspective. And for the ultimate perspective, the new cliffwalk attraction lets you ‘hang out’ over the Capilano Canyon itself. This incredible walkway hugs the cliff face and offers 360° views of the lush rainforest below through the glass floor. There’s plenty of information available on this pristine ecosystem and the abundance of life that calls it home.



After leaving the mountains, you’ll travel back across the beautiful Lions Gate Bridge to visit one of Vancouver’s most popular spots, Granville Island. With its waterfront public market, unique shops, eateries, a mini-brewery and fine arts studios, this is an excellent opportunity to treat yourself to lunch or some shopping. Finally, end this popular excursion by taking in the sights, sounds and delicious smells of North America’s second largest Chinatown, and enjoying a drive through historic Gastown – the birthplace of the city of Vancouver.
