Get up close to some of the world´s greatest painters and learn about the story behind masterpieces by Van Gogh, Cézanne, Gaugin, Renoir and Monet amongst many; how they changed the face of art and paved the way for future artists and movements. The Musée d’Orsay was originally a railway station that was opened as an art museum in 1900, and is now the 10th most visited art museum in the world. A favourite amongst Parisians, the museum is a must see attraction.

After a morning spent soaking up world famous art, you will have time to have lunch and take a stroll along the scenic Seine to Ile de la Cité. From here we will start the second half of the tour with a short walking tour of where Paris was founded, exploring in the flower market and the prison and last home of Marie Antoinette.
