No visit to Asturias would be complete without the descent of the River Sella by canoe. Paddle your canoe down this pristine river with the incredible backdrop of the Pico de Europa mountains dominating the skyline. You'll make the descent in one, two or three seater, self-draining canoes. You will receive a full safety briefing beforehand and the tour is escorted throughout so this activity is suitable for beginners.

You'll find plenty of shoals and beaches for swimming and picnicking and even a snack bar along the river banks. You also have the option of breaking the descent halfway at Toraño or continuing down to Llovio, near the point where the river meets the sea at Ribadesella. Once you arrive you'll be driven back to the starting point.
