Malgrat de Mar is a charming fishing village and lively tourist resort. Explore its narrow lanes and higgledy-piggledy houses. Go for a swim and soak up some rays on one of the town's three beaches. The Church of Sant Nicolau, also known as the Cathedral of the Coast, due its great size is also well worth a visit. Santa Susanna is another charming fishing village with mediaeval buildings and a pleasant beach and shady parks. Pineda de Mar is also worth visiting before the boat docks at Calella with its 2km long beach. Time to sit back at a pavement café and watch the world go by. A great day out for all the family.
