Ferrari experience and gastronomic tour

General information

Destination
Florence, Italy

Program details

Get to know three contrasting world famous Italian brands all in one eclectic tour. Test your need for speed at the Ferrari Museum and tickle your taste buds with balsamic vinegar from Modena and Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese. Learn how each of these products is made as you travel through Tuscany, from Florence to Maranello, in a tour that will delight and stimulate your senses.

Learn about the modern side of Italy at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello, where you’ll see all the glittering trophies, cars and images that have made up the history of this iconic brand; from Enzo Ferrari’s office to famous F1 cars and Schumacher’s cars. Feel the roar of the Ferrari engine and don’t miss the ‘Galleria del Vento’ (wind tunnel) designed by Renzo Piano, Italy’s most famous living architect. On request, and if available, you can also book the shuttle guided tour inside the Fiorano track and the Viale Enzo Ferrari to live the whole Ferrari Experience.

Next, sample the delicacies that Italy is famous for. We head to a balsamic vinegar producer close to Maranello who will fascinate you with the ageing process of Modena’s balsamic vinegar, before you sample their estate specialities. Sit back, relax, and enjoy a delicious traditional lunch consisting of regional products served in a characteristic restaurant close by, but your Italian experience doesn’t stop there. ‘Say cheese!’ and visit a Parmigiano-Reggiano factory, where you can sample and acquire a taste for this classic Italian cheese before heading back to Florence.
