HIGHLIGHTS:
* See the city skyline from a different point of view
* Admire pretty vineyards, lush meadows and beautiful villas
* See the panoramas that make Dresden the ‘Florence of the Elbe’
Take to the water and explore Dresden and its verdant surroundings by boat. On a two and a half hour cruise you’ll be able to absorb the city’s magical panorama from a different point of view, as well as the leafy landscapes of the Elbe River Valley.
The Elbe River Valley, a former Unesco site, extends for 20 km and includes the city of Dresden on its path. The course of the Elbe River is 680 miles long and rises in the Krkonoše Mountains before flowing into the lowlands of the Czech Republic, and into Germany. Surrounded by natural landscapes, including pretty vineyards, lush meadows and beautiful villas, this boat tour takes you to the heart of the valley to escape the city hustle and bustle of the city.
Of course, on our way in and out of Dresden, you’ll be able to take in that picture postcard skyline Dresden is famous for. Take in the elegant dome of the Frauenkirche and other city sites that were extensively rebuilt after the bombing raids of 1945, now nicknamed ‘Florence of the Elbe’. Throughout the tour, you’ll be able to experience how the river has appeared through history as the landscape remains largely unchanged with natural river banks and slopes.
Duration: Two and-a-half hours.
Start/opening time: Saturday and sunday at 11am from 04.04.2016 to 31.10.2016.
