Experience an action-packed adventure that combines the excitement of horse riding and driving an all-terrain vehicle in the wilds outside of Cairns. Traverse through spectacular landscapes and rainforest terrain, around giant termite mounds, creeks and native wildlife out in the far northern Queensland bush.


Enjoy a two-hour horse ride for either experienced riders or beginners and two hours of adrenalin-pumping ATV (all-terrain vehicle) driving. Both activities take place in and around a working sugar cane farm and the property that also boasts an 18-acre billabong (oxbow lake) which is abundant with native birds and amphibious creatures of all shapes and sizes. Meet the resident geese, peacocks and ducks, and perhaps even spot a crocodile.


The horses are mainly Australian stock horses but also Arabians and American Quarter horses with most averaging 14 to 15 hands in height. Ride through rainforest pockets, mangrove wetlands, sugarcane fields and native bush. Draw up on horseback alongside the billabong for a tea over a camp fire and the chance to see a croc in the wild.


The ATVs are easy to ride and are the perfect prop for some high speed jinks. With a fleet of both 90cc and 250cc quads, the guides will ensure the perfect balance between safety and fun. You will be speeding through the rainforest and the trails in the property, enjoying a perspective of the bush. A barbecue lunch, tea and coffee as well as afternoon light refreshments are all included. Kick your heels up and live a full-throttle Australian adventure.
