Program details
In this half-day excursion you will have the opportunity to visit the other side of the peninsula and pick up some great holiday souvenirs and relax on one of the area's long white sandy beaches.
Las Terrenas is beautiful fishing village, situated on the north east coast of the peninsula and is home to an lively international community. Its many small bars and restaurants and quirky boutiques have a distinct European feel.
The nearby beaches go on for miles with not much to see apart from the usual suspects: electric blue waters, achingly white sands, swaying palm trees and some shacks sizzling up some mean fried fish, lobster and fresh coconut juice. Here you'll have plenty of time to sunbathe, swim or snorkel in the pristine turquoise waters or relax in the shade of the palm trees.
So if you fancy a bit of retail therapy or you are looking for a change of scenery, give Las Terrenas a look!
This half-day excursion takes around 6 hours. You'll be picked up from your hotel at 07:30 returning at 13:30. This excursion includes hotel pick up and drop off, all transfers, the services of a bilingual guide.
We suggest you bring comfortable shoes and clothes, sunglasses and cap, sunscreen as well as a swimsuit and towel and extra cash in case you want to purchase souvenirs or some food.
