Program details
The last rays of a spectacular sunset, the rhythm of beating drums, and the call of the conch shell signal the start of Maui’s most exciting and longest running Polynesian luau.
Highlights- Immerse yourself in Hawaiian traditions
- Taste the regions most delicious dishes from the buffet
- Be enchanted by music and dance
Be our guest at this time-honoured Hawaiian tradition and enjoy a four hour spectacle to remember.
Make your way to the Royal Lahaina luau; the night's exuberant entertainment. A classic mix of dinner, dance, and celebration, experience a fantastic night in the islands. With a shining sea in the background, lapping the rocky shoreline of Maui, take your seat and prepare for a unique event. Grab a sweet Mai Tai or Honey Girl and sip away while you enjoy the great smells of the traditional meal being prepared.
Watch as the wonderful performers take to the stage in the familiar coconut shelled tops, flowing grass skirts, and crowns of leaves or flowers atop their head. Once a form of prayer to the local gods, the Hula dance combines both steadfast and agile movements to form a breathtaking display. A cultural Hawaiian, Tahitian, Samoan and Maori dance tradition, the movement and music will captivate and excite you. Fill your plate with tender grilled meats and customary rice and vegetable dishes showcasing the region's natural bounty. Be sure to save room for desserts of tropical fruit cakes, coconut creams, and macadamia nut pies.
Weaving the legends of the South Pacific into a spellbinding show, you are sure to treasure the experience of the night for years to come.
