Make your way then to the snow-capped Aiguille du Midi. Thanks to a nimble two-stage cable car, you will reach the mountain’s summit in no time. Be awed by the unparalleled panoramic views over the Chamonix Valley and the French, Swiss and Italian Alps. You might even be able to distinguish Matterhorn, the iconic peak of Switzerland.



At the Aiguille de Midi summit you can take pictures or dreamily land-gaze from a choice of terraces and balconies. Watch skiers zoom past as they master the slippery slopes of the glacier. And if it happens to get a bit nippy up there, you can also sit down at a café to warm up with a nice cup of hot chocolate or even enjoy a light snack.
