Experience the other side of Dubai as you leave the skyscrapers behind and discover the stunning natural beauty of this region. Travelling in a state of the art 4X4 you will cross a variety of terrain as you make your way into the desert and mountains that surround Dubai. Visit a traditional local village and learn about the history of the land and the people before the ultra-modern metropolis was constructed. Explore mountains strems which lead to lush green oases and refreshing water pools. Stop for lunch and spend the afternoon making the most of the desert sand with camel riding, quad biking, sand boarding and, of course, dune bashing!
Be picked up at your hotel in Dubai and begin your journey into the desert and mountains on the outskirts of the city. Many visitors to Dubai spend the duration of their stay in the city so on this tour you will be a part of a lucky minority who also experience the nature and wildlife of the region. The first stop is the Hatta Heritage Village on the banks of the Hatta Wadi dry river beds. Dating back to the 16th century, you will have the opportunity to discover some of the region’s rich local culture.
Follow mountain streams to picturesque hidden oases before stopping for a delicious lunch to recharge your batteries. Then spend the afternoon on the desert sands, enjoying a whole host of outdoor activities from traditional camel riding to the recently invented sand boarding.
