Discover the true beauty of the Atlas Mountains and the warmth of the Berber people that make them their home on this unforgettable overnight trip. A real adventure into the highest points of Morocco, the trip includes crossing the impressive Ourika Valley, taking in the ski resort of Oumkaiden which is also a typical Berber village and trekking on foot and with mules to traditional settlements almost 3000 meters above sea level. The views are spectacular and the memories of the people you meet will stay with you forever.


Over two days you will comprehensively explore the beautiful and imposing Atlas Mountain range. The trip begins with a memorable drive out of the hustle and bustle of Marrakech and into the beautiful Ourika Valley. Take in the rolling hills and twisting rivers as you approach the foothills of the mountains. Begin your ascent and arrive at Oukaimden, a popular ski resort but also a traditional Berber village and here you will meet your mules and mule drivers.


Enjoy a picnic lunch in the picturesque nature that surrounds you before a four hour trek on foot or using the mules to the remote villages of Ouanskra and Tizi N’Addi at 2900m. Here you will meet the friendly and welcoming locals who will serve you a traditional dinner before spending the night in a comfortable guest house.


After a good night’s sleep you will trek back down the mountain, admiring the stunning scenery and stopping at Imlil, a small Berber village which boasts incredible views over the mountains and plains. Marvel at the contrast of colours on display before continuing your descent and returning to your hotel in Marrakech.
