Drive to the royal temple of Mengwi, Pura Taman Ayun, known for its beautiful meru's and surrounding moat. Watch the monkeys in Kedaton village play freely in the temple complex whilst the villagers go about their daily work. Late afternoon drive to, Tanah Lot Temple, famous for its sunsets (weather permitting), a perfect backdrop for the sacred temple which stands on a lava rock out in the Indian Ocean. At low tide it is possible to walk over to the temple but entrance is not permitted.
