Sit back for two hours and enjoy a sumptuous cheese platter and carefully selected wines as the city highlights glide gently by. Find out why Amsterdam is known as the Venice of the North on this two hour evening cruise by candlelight. There are more than 100 kilometres of canals, around 90 islands and 1,500 bridges to discover. This mini- cruise is an ideal way to get a taste of this most romantic of cities from the water. You'll get privileged views of the some of the city's most beautiful spots from one of our deluxe barges.

As you cruise through the old city centre you'll be able to admire gabled merchants' mansions, old churches and warehouses dating from Holland's Golden Age in the 17th Century, as well as the numerous bridges, typical houseboats and the unique ambiance of this fascinating city. The three main canals dug in the 17th Century during the Dutch Golden Age form concentric belts around the city known as the Grachtengordel. Alongside the main canals are 1,550 monumental buildings. This area has been a Unesco World Heritage Site since 2010.

The cruise also includes a sumptuous cheese platter together with olives, nuts and carefully selected wines. Ideal for snuggling up close to someone special for a truly magical evening.
