This tour is full of the world’s best and biggest. To start, see the Adler Planetarium, America’s first planetarium and the oldest in existence in the world. Following is a visit to Grant Park, the “front lawn” of the city and site of Soldier Field, an American football stadium. A trip to the Art Institute of Chicago is unforgettable with its world-renowned collection of impressionistic art, the largest in the world. See also the Orchestra Hall, home of the famous Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Shedd Aquarium, the world's largest aquarium. Make a stop by the Field Museum of Natural History, famous for the size and scope of its collections.

Journey through the South Commons and see beautiful Jackson Park, where the Colombian Exposition of 1893 was held to celebrate the founding of America some 400 years earlier. Pass through the stately University of Chicago, with its elegant English style architecture, and the Museum of Science and Industry. Finally you can look up in awe at the world’s highest apartment building, Lake Point Towers, an architecturally stunning building of curves and glass, adjacent to Navy Pier.



Meeting/pick-up point: Transportation is available from Downtown area hotels only. Guests can opt to join the tour at the main departure point at 17 East Monroe, Arcade Level of Palmer House Hotel, Chicago, IL 60603.
Duration: Approx. two hours.
Start/opening time: Tour is offered at 9.30am and 11.30am from June - September, and 10am and 12noon from October - May.
