Program details
Travelers have been falling in love with Halifax with its enduring maritime legacy for 265 years. With its rich maritime history it comes as no surprise that a number of museums and attractions celebrate its seafaring past and present. The city tour features the Victorian Public Gardens which cover an impressive 17 acres in the heart of the city. Marvel at the raised flowerbeds, dome-topped Bandstand and three Roman Goddess statues lining the walkway. With no shortage of attractions and sights while on tour, see historic properties such as Government House, the “one-day” church known as Our Lady of Sorrows Chapel, the Old Town Clock, and the Citadel National Historic Site located in the heart of the city.
Meeting/pick-up point: In front of the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic.
Duration: One hour approx.
