Program details
Discover Sydney’s harbour with an extraordinary variation of hop on-hop off tours by giving it a marine twist. Instead of slowly cruising through the streets of a city in a packed touristic bus, jump onto a boat and cruise the coastline for a full day to discover Sydney’s seven most renowned harbour attractions.
Disembark at the sites most appealing to you then hop back on board when you are ready to continue to the next thanks to your tour ticket. This allows you to personalize your trip and live a unique experience of Sydney’s harbour without being tied to the strict timetables of an organised tour. You can also opt to sit on the boat throughout the duration of the cruise – an hour and a half – and see the stunning views from the sea while learning about the region’s history thanks to the highly educational commentary the tour offers in a wide variety of languages.
Each of the seven stops offers something completely different and is beautiful and interesting in its own way. Visit Fort Denison, the formal penitentiary island; Taronga Zoo, an exuberant amalgam of flora and wildlife; the exciting Shark Island and the beautiful Watson’s bay; the world-renowned Luna Park amusement fair, with its wild clown statues welcoming guests at the entrance; the romantic Darling Harbour; and, last but not least, the extraordinary Circular Quay. Not many are able to say that they have become connoisseurs of Sydney’s harbour from sea.
Meeting/pick-up point: Number 6 Jetty, Circular Quay or Pier 26, Darling Harbour.
Duration: One and a halfo hours.
Start/opening time: Every 45mins, 9.45am-4.30pm.
