Program details
Ride along the city voted one of the world’s most bike-friendly with this half-day bike tour of Melbourne. You’ll meander along the safe, scenic cycle paths, taking in a series of impressive Melbourne landmarks such as the magnificent Melbourne Cricket Ground, Fitzroy Gardens, Rod Laver Arena, Federation Square, Victoria Parliament and Queen Victoria Market. Another highlight of the tour is a ride into the heart of some of Melbourne’s hip, local neighbourhoods.
This stunning bike tour of Melbourne begins on the banks of the Yarra River, near the famous Polly Woodside tall ship. As you continue along the Yarra bike trail, you’ll enjoy views of the legendary 100,000-capacity Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), Fitzroy Gardens, Rod Laver Arena, Federation Square, Victoria Parliament and Queen Victoria Market.
As you pedal, your guide will share insightful commentary and local tips on the Melbourne neighbourhoods you pass through. Revealing hidden secrets along the way, the narrative of the tour will help you get a real feel for the character of Melbourne. Your guide will make sure you get time for photos, because this is definitely a tour you’ll want to show off to your friends and family. This bike tour uses ‘city’ bikes that are light, compact and highly manoeuvrable.
