Enjoy all Cairns Tropical Zoo shows, guided tours and presentations as shown on the daily programme. Plus see all our other wildlife displays. The licensed cafe is available for meals and snacks throughout the day.

Cairns Tropical Zoo has one of Australia's most comprehensive snake displays: monitors, dragons, lizards, crocodiles (saltwater and freshwater varieties) alligators and other reptiles. You will find also cockatoos, raptors, parrots, emus, cassowaries, brolgas, pelicans, water birds, finches and other birds. Among mammals you may see koalas, wombats (common, southern hairy-nosed), macropods eastern grey, agile, pademelons, cotton top tamarins, lemurs, dingoes, possums and others.

Attractions at the zoo provide a variety of ways to experience nature in the tropics with a broad variety of animal displays and animal presentations by the keepers. These shows provide an introduction to Australia's most representative wildlife. Keepers love the animals they take care of and are eager to communicate their know-how: they will be happy to answer your questions. Shows include: Kangaroo Feeding, Pelican Feeding, More on Marsupials, Cuddle a Koala opportunity, Wildlife Photo Opportunity (Koala, Snake, Crocodile), Free Flight Bird Show, Crocodile Action!, Snakes Alive, Free Flight Bird Show and wildlife photo opportunity (koala, snake, crocodile).
