The complete reef and island experience awaits you with this exciting full day tour to tropical Green Island and the spectacular outer reaches of the Great Barrier Reef.
A fast 45-minute catamaran ride will take you to beautiful Green Island, a 6000 year old coral cay, to enjoy two hours on this unique reef and rainforest destination. Home to more than 120 native plant species and colourful bird life, it is surrounded by coral gardens and abundant marine life to explore. Try some snorkelling to discover the rich coral life or view the marine life with a glass-bottom boat coral viewing tour. You have the possibility to see colourful fish, sea turtles, giant clams, starfish, shells, anemones, eels, sponges, sea urchins and many more incredible marine creatures. Take a walk around the island through the lush rainforest on a self-guided walk. The circumference of the island is just 1.5km so you can comfortably walk it within 20 minutes while learning of the many plants and animals that live upon the island.
The adventure then continues as you travel out on the majestic Great Barrier Reef to a spacious multi-level reef activity platform .There's an abundance of activities for swimmers and non-swimmers to enjoy. Discover the reef from the semi-submersible, visit the underwater observatory, dive and snorkel directly off the platform or just relax on the sundeck and enjoy a delicious buffet lunch.
