Take it easy and explore the scenic areas of Cairns via the Kuranda Scenic Rail and Skyrail. With free time in Kuranda to wander around this beautiful village, this is a relaxing tour where you need not feel rushed.

Collected from your accommodation you are transported by luxury coach to Freshwater Station to board the Kuranda Scenic Rail. Enjoy breathtaking views en route travelling through prolific rainforest and cascading waterfalls. The scenic railway winds through 15 tunnels and over 36 bridges as it travels along the 90-minute train track between Cairns and Kuranda. Watch the spectacular scenic views from the open-air railway train windows as it comes to a halt at Stoney Creek falls for some amazing scenic photo opportunities.

After arriving in Kuranda the day is free for you to explore the 'village in the rainforest'. At the arranged time you are then met at the meeting point to then board the Skyrail. Relax and enjoy the world's most beautiful rainforest experience from the six-person gondolas stopping along the way to explore two areas of interest including boardwalks and the CSIRO Interpretive Centre. Suspended high above the lush tropical canopy, you can appreciate amazing views of the World Heritage listed rainforest below. Your journey ends at Caravonica Lakes where your coach is waiting to take you back to your accommodation.

Meeting/pick-up point: Accommodation in Cairns and northern beaches 7am.
Start/opening time: 8am.
End/closing time: Return coach transfer departs at 4:50pm.
