Glide over the countryside around Seville as you enjoy bird’s-eye views of Roman ruins, a vast wildlife sanctuary and mighty river estuaries with this early morning hot air balloon adventure. Feel the wind in your face as you experience exhilarating sensations while in flight before the dramatic landing, which is followed by an Andalusian breakfast and the traditional ‘christening’.

Meeting up about a half-hour before sunrise, we launch from the serene natural landscape of the River Guadiamar Green Corridor (the name derives from the Arabic ‘prince of rivers’). Once in the air, the wind decides the course and any vertigo you may have should disappear as we calmly travel at the speed of the breeze. The time in the air lasts between 60 and 80 minutes as we fly from the ruins of Roman Italica to the natural wonderland of the Doñana National Park, a Unesco World Heritage Site and Biosphere Reserve. The landing is part of the fun as the wind can drag the basket along for a few metres.

You will be greeted with refreshments at the landing zone and transferred to a nearby venue for a wholesome Andalusian breakfast. Afterwards, enjoy one of the most memorable parts of the day as we break open bottles of chilled champagne to christen the new passengers into the aeronautical world.

Duration: Route lasts between 60 and 90 minutes.
Start/opening time: Between 6am and 8am, about 30 minutes before sunrise.
Others: Although the temperature will be much colder at altitude, the burners will compensate for this, which results in a temperature that is about the same as on the ground. Dress for the season.
