The Segway really is simplicity itself to ride, as you find out yourself once you’ve jumped aboard. After taking a few practice spins, you’ll be ready to explore Valencia in style!
Starting in central Valencia, you’ll cruise around the maze of narrow streets and alleys around the medieval walls of the city. Your guide will tell you all about the Roman and Islamic heritage of this great city as you pass by some of the main monuments. The highlight has to be the Cathedral, a veritable microcosm of the history of this proud city with Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque elements as well as the Micalet belfry, once the minaret of an Islamic mosque and now the symbol of Valencia.
From here Cruise along the lush Turia Gardens, following the old course of the River Turia, now a highway for cyclists and joggers. We’ll head for the City of Arts and Sciences, an ultra-modern museum complex designed by local architect Santiago Calatrava.
