This guided Segway tour will show you another side to Valencia. In the company of an expert guide, you’ll cruise through the pleasant Turia Gardens, en route to the ultra-modern City of Arts and Sciences. The Segway is an ultra-modern, eco-friendly vehicle, less sweat than cycling and faster than walking and is definitely the best way to explore this fascinating Mediterranean metropolis.
The fun starts when you meet your expert guide. The tour will begin with a safety briefing where you will learn all the basic manoeuvres. The Segway is simplicity itself to ride as you’ll soon learn for yourself. Then after a few practice spins, it’s time to explore Valencia in style!
In this tour with a difference you’ll cruise along the snaking Turia Gardens, following the old course of the River Turia. These beautiful gardens are a green lung for the city and a highway for cyclists and joggers, far from the city’s clogged traffic lanes. They are also the longest urban gardens in Europe. You’ll come across a wide variety of attractions including some amazing modern architecture.
Stop to admire the flamboyant Palau de la Musica Valenciana, a tribute to the strong musical tradition of the city, surrounded by lush vegetation and stunning series of water features. From here Cruise across the Gargoyles Bridge, towards the City of Arts and Sciences, an ultra-modern museum complex designed by local architect Santiago Calatrava.
