Program details
Release your inner daredevil with a daring rappel rope descent in the face of the Iguazu Falls and then an exhilarating rafting expedition in the waters below them. As holiday adventures go, this one is right off the scale. Come along and live and breathe the great outdoors in an unforgettable way.
Trek through the rainforests of the Iguazu National Park to the cliff of the canyon. Then experience the breathtaking descent by rope of the 50 metre-plus (more than 180ft) rock cliffs that overlook the waterfalls.
For the rafting, you will receive instructions from the coordinators as well as lifejacket and helmet before beginning the tour, passing by the Three Musketeers waterfall. Massimo Desiati, a five-time Brazilian canoeing champion, coordinates the rafting tour. Apart from the operations training, the guides also learn safety aspects and are members of the Brazilian Canoeing Confederation.
Awesome doesn’t even begin to describe the Iguazu Falls, which are a Unesco World Heritage Site and one of the Seven New Wonders of Nature. And nothing in the world of water compares to – or is more impressive than – the natural spectacle provided by the stunning group of 275 waterfalls that make up the Iguazu Waterfalls. The vast vapour clouds and the deafening sounds will leave you awestruck.
