Program details
Experience one of the ultimate great outdoor activities with an exhilarating rafting expedition in the shadow of the mighty Iguazu Falls, one of Mother Nature’s greatest creations. Join us for this wonderful adventure that will linger long in the memory.
You will receive instructions from the coordinators as well as lifejacket and helmet before beginning the tour, passing by the Three Musketeers waterfall. Massimo Desiati, a five-time Brazilian canoeing champion, coordinates the rafting tour. Apart from the operations training, the guides also learn safety aspects and are members of the Brazilian Canoeing Confederation.
Awesome doesn’t even begin to describe the Iguazu Falls, which are a Unesco World Heritage Site and one of the Seven New Wonders of Nature. And nothing in the world of water compares to – or is more impressive than – the natural spectacle provided by the stunning group of 275 waterfalls that make up the Iguazu Waterfalls.
Situated just a few kilometres from the union of the Iguazu River with the Paraná River, the sheer size, the vast vapour clouds and the deafening sounds will leave you awestruck. During the rainy season, the stream of the Iguazu River increases, creating an even more beautiful spectacle. The biggest waterfall is the Devils Throat, which is 90 metres high.
Meeting/ Pick up point: Hotel lobby at 8am with your adventure lasting about six hours.
Others: There is a national park entrance fee of some USD26.
